Torque Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Scheduler to be based in Melbourne CBD. This will be working with the Construction Manager for a globally recognized company, occasional site visits will be a part of this position.

Our client is well regarded, and people focused striving to create a positive change on the way people view energy, they have recently won a new contract based in and are requiring additions to their team.

Duties:

  • Reviewing, planning and scheduling for solar projects around Australia
  • Assisting with the organization of upcoming projects
  • Regular Site Travel (all expenses covered)
  • Analysing, negotiating and preparing purchase orders for sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Development of integrated work schedules
  • Ensuring completed schedules and work orders are returned promptly
  • Reviewing and identifying changes needed to the schedule
  • Working on and balancing multiple projects

Requirements:

  • Must have previous Scheduling experience in the Construction Industry
  • Must have an Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Must have the ability to accurately calculate construction costs, analyse risk and identify opportunities for cost saving
  • Must have strong computer skills, including MS Project
  • Professional and effective communication skills
  • Strong analytical, collaboration and problem-solving skills
